God is in Control

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." Isaiah 45:7

It is obvious that after the past six years, Barak Obama has found criticism following him. The actions he takes are unacceptable to society and should be, but nonetheless, God is doing something. Chairman Mao, former communist dictator of China (reigned from 1949-76), and he committed horrible crimes against his own people including evils such as throwing his own people into concentration camps and starving them to literal death. Nevertheless, he was placed there because God was doing something. Hilter killed millions of Jews by genocide and concentration camps, nevertheless, God was doing something. 





  Nero reigned during Paul's time and was seemingly the most psychotic of them all. He was rumored to have killed his own family, killed Christians by means of feeding them to lions, etc, he raped women, and was even rumored to have burned down Rome while playing the fiddle. He was responsible for Paul's beheading and Peter's upside down crucifixion. Nevertheless, God was doing something.

We may not like what we have seen, read, heard, or are experiencing, but one thing remains: God is in control. He places individuals in positions of power for His purpose. We may not be able to see it now, but we will all understand one glorious day. 

"And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness and light dwells with Him." Daniel 2:21-22

Our job as children of God, is to pray for our leaders. Pray that God moves His Spirit across this nation and our world in entirety. Don't give up hope. God is in control and is doing something. Trust in Him.
