All throughout the book of Daniel, we see a faithful man of God who spent his life on his knees. Because of his daily practice of praying to God, we see a man of unwavering faith and a man who had a reputation that not even a king could destroy nor doubt. If we learn anything from Daniel, it would be on how to allow God to consume your heart on a daily basis through the power of prayer. I believe Daniel knew that as long as he made prayer the number one priority of his daily routine, that God would show up every time. We could take Daniel's life and use it as a platform for our own lives. Imagine if you prayed the moment you woke up? Thirty minutes later? Before and after lunch? Before and after dinner? For an hour straight at a time? Can you imagine what God can do through you if you just give Him back the time He has put into you?
"Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice." Psalms 55:17
